Congratulations and I can’t wait to make you some new bibs!
So for those of you who have been living under a rock don’t know, I am the proud owner of Monkey See Monkey Do Children’s Boutique. And when I say proud I mean it. Because 1.5 years ago I couldn’t even sew a straight line people! Now I make adorable (okay so maybe I’m biased) kid stuff.
I experimented with a couple bib patterns and different materials before I thought of using pul and decided on the current pattern. I love these bibs! So far nothing I’ve given the little guy has soaked through. Plus they are way cuter and don’t crack like the plastic bibs from chain stores.
So why and I going on about my bibs? Because I’m going to give away 2! and the winner gets to pick the (in stock) fabric!

So here is how to enter:
1. Mandatory entry! Go to Monkey See Monkey Do and pick out your favorite item (past items that you’ve seen photos of qualifies too) and then come back here and tell me what it is!
2. Fan us on Facebook and then leave a comment about it!

Oh and here is a comment from a lovely mommy:
I love your bibs. The PUL in the middle really helps keep their shirts clean and dry. Now if only you could come up with a PUL hat to keep R’s hair dry when she tries to “shampoo” with her yogurt!
Okay so maybe it hasn’t really been that long, but it feels like forever!
It’s been pretty slow here. I’ve had some customs and made some birthday presents.
I met Emi from The Cloth Diaper Report on Saturday she was giving a cloth diaper class, hosted by Rebecca of Sprouting Up (which is located in Rolla Missouri). It went really well! They had lots of mama’s show up and there was lots of discussion. I’m excited for my next class! After Emi‘s class was a baby wearing workshop that I’m sad I missed, but we had a long drive home and the little guy needed to take a nap. He was asleep before we had gone 100 feet!
Other big news in my little world…
I’m getting my apartment back! For those of you who don’t know I’ve been living with my parents since my separation with Kyle (Caiden’s dad). There has been someone living in the apartment since I moved back and the latest renter has moved out and I get my own space again! It’s only like 50 feet away from the house, but still I need my own space again.
Want to see my latest creations? To bad you are going to anyway.

Caiden got 2 new diapers (more are in the works!)

I made some pumpkins for mom’s fireplace

This one is a custom sling for a little boy’s birthday

My first mei tai. Can’t wait to make another with some minor tweaking!

1 of 3 up-cycled men’s button-up shirts

We celebrated fall early this year with some candy apples
So I was in the mud room putting laundry in the dryer and I look over and this is what I see:

scary isn’t it?!

My little boy is getting too big! I can’t keep him off those stools now. Thankfully there won’t be any stools in the apartment!
The guy who was renting our apartment asked if he could hang some things up on the wall and mom said yes. What a mistake that was. Okay so maybe it only bothers me. But seriously who needs 75 nails 16 screws and 2 tacks in an apartment that is probably 900sq. ft or less. It’s utterly ridiculous. Okay so now I’m going to go tweet the # of nails, screws and tacks and also complain on twitter and then hopefully I’ll have it out of my system.
Have a lovely evening anyone who actually reads this!
Oh and did you know you can leave comments on the blog? They don’t need to be tweeted or posted on my facebook wall… It’d be awesome if it looked like people actually read all this stuff! kthx!
