Apple Doughnut Balls
These are so simple and sooo yummy!

Yield 30-35
Combine following ingredients and mix together:
2 c flour
1/4 c sugar
1 tbs baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 apple chopped into small pieces
In a separate bowl combine and mix together:
1/2 c evaporated milk or half and half
1/3 c frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
1 egg slightly beaten
Mix the dry and liquid ingredients together. Drop by spoonfuls (golf ball sized) into hot oil. Drain on paper towels and roll in desired ratio of cinnamon and sugar.
The original recipe didn’t give a temp on the oil. 350 worked well for me.
Make sure you let them get well browned or you’ll have uncooked dough in the center. Photo provided below.
